I am extremely grateful to the following people and resources for helping me to set up this website:

• In the last two years I have been a member of the Wexford Naturalists Field Club and have been lucky to be on the receiving end of a lot of knowledge most generously given which is documented on relevant web-pages. One member of this Club, Jimmy Goodwin one of the developers from Coded, was kind enough to take on the job of helping me to get this website professionally designed and set up, and I thank him for his patience.
• Staff at the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin have been very helpful with identifications, namely Colin Kelleher and Daragh Lupton.
• Our wildflowers have played a substantial role in Ireland’s tradition of folklore. On this website, small extracts of recorded folklore can be found on individual wildflower pages. For information on the folklore of these plants, I have drawn from two manuscript collections of folklore transcripts in the archives of the National Folklore Collection, University College Dublin. These are the so-called "Main Manuscript Collection", dating from approximately 1930 - present, and the "Schools' Folklore Collection" (1937-38). Material from both of these sources is reproduced here with the permission of the Director of the Centre.
